Miscellaneous Projects

Peddlar Vegetable Cart

The peddler doll was one of the first dolls I made. She is from a kit by Karen Rozmus. The peddlar wagon I made at a Midwest Miniature Guild meeting.
I also made all the vegetables from Fimo.

Miniature Bears

I got hooked on making these wonderful miniature bears.
They range in height from 1 1/2" - 4" tall. All the kits were from Emily Farmer.

Miniature Bears

More of my miniature bears I have made.

Heart O' Mine

This was another project my guild made at one of our meetings.
It's made from a heart-shaped candy box. I wasn't sure what I
wanted to put on it, so I ended up putting a bunch of toys and things on it.
They are still there today, only lots more.

Heart O' Mine

The back of the heart box. I padded it and covered it with fabrics and flowers.

Loxx Tudor House

This was my first 1/4" project. A friend of mine and I each made one
during the summer one year. The kit was from Kit Cropper.
It was very easy and fun to make.

NAME Christmas Centerpiece

I won this wonderful Christmas centerpiece at a
NAME National Convention in 1997, in Kansas City, MO.

Winter Centerpiece

I made this centerpiece for a NAME National Convention.

Winter Centerpiece

I put a mirror on the left and right sides of the room. I then used
1/2 a snowman and put him up against the mirror so he looks whole.
I also did that with the tree on the other side.

Winter Centerpiece

I made the other side of the roombox into an entry way.

Zebra

This is my first attempt at carving. I made this from a kit, carved the whole zebra and rockers, then painted it and made the saddle.
I also have a wonderful giraffe kit that I haven't started yet.

Peaches 'n' Cream

This is a 1/2" scale hatbox I made from a d. Anne Ruff kit.
I still need to accessorize it.

Annie Feeding the Pigeons Scene

My Mom is the recipient of quite a lot of my dolls for
Christmas' and birthdays. I gave this to her for Christmas 2000.

Nautical Mason Jar

I purchased this large canning jar at a garage sale
and filled it with a small collection of nautical items.

Nautical House

I purchased this house at a show from an estate for $100.
A lot of the items are signed pieces by well known artists. Quite a deal I thought.

Nautical House Left

A close up the items on the left side of the house.
The seaman's chest and rowboat, are by Hank Taylor.
The seaman with the net and the yellow slicker seaman
with the ships wheel are both by Gillick.
The brass lighthouse actually lights and is signed, but I can't read it.
All other pieces are unsigned.

Nautical House Right

A close up the items on the right side of the house.
The ship's compass is signed RS.
The ivory whale cribbage board is signed Cobb's.
And the unfinished model sailboat is by Hank Taylor.
Everything else is unsigned.
